Branning family : ウィキペディア英語版 | Branning family
The Branning family are a fictional, extended family in the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders''. Introduced in 1993 were the Jackson family, consisting of Carol Jackson (Lindsey Coulson), her husband Alan Jackson (Howard Anthony), and Carol's four children, Bianca (Patsy Palmer), Sonia (Natalie Cassidy), Robbie (Dean Gaffney), and Billie (Devon Anderson). Billie is the only child fathered by Alan, while Bianca is the daughter of previous regular character David Wicks (Michael French). The family becomes a more dominating presence in the early 2000s, when Carol's father Jim Branning (John Bardon) moves to Walford following the death of his wife Reenie to cancer. Since then, all six of Jim's children have appeared, many of them with family. Currently, the remaining Brannings consist of Sonia, Sonia's daughter Rebecca Fowler (Jasmine Armfield) and Bianca's adoptive daughter Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty); Max Branning (Jake Wood), his daughters Abi Branning (Lorna Fitzgerald) and Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa as well as Lauren's son, Louie; and Jim's second wife, Dot Branning (June Brown). The family has been central to some of ''EastEnders'' most notable storylines since their re-development in 2006. These include Max's spurned wife Tanya Cross (Jo Joyner) burying him alive, before digging him back up again out of guilt; the death of Max's son Bradley (Charlie Clements) by falling from the roof of Albert Square's pub The Queen Victoria; Jim suffering a stroke and Dot's subsequent struggle to care for him; and the news that Reenie has passed the BRCA2 cancer gene down through the family, resulting in Carol suffering from breast cancer in 2014 and Sonia also having the gene. ==Storylines==
